A joint statement issued by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s envoy Yitzhak Molcho invoked the chimera of peace to defend this controversial decision: “Israel and the Palestinian Authority are committed to achieving peace…”
